Academic Director

Dr. Su graduated with high honors in Mathematics from Dartmouth College and proceeded directly to earn his Ph.D. in Statistics from Stanford University in just four years. During his time at Dartmouth, he was awarded First Place in the Thayer Mathematical Prize, a competitive Olympiad-style mathematics competition.

He was also a two-time member of Dartmouth’s three-person team for the William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition, one of the most prestigious undergraduate mathematics competitions in North America. In 2006, he led Dartmouth to a 20th-place national finish.

During his high school years, he attended China’s Mathematics National Team Training Camp, a highly selective program that brings together top-performing students from the China Mathematical Olympiad (CMO). His strong passion for in-depth problem solving was evident early on and continued to shape his academic path.

Dr. Su’s rigorous and distinguished work on mathematical inequalities later led to the publication of a widely recognized book on the subject. Co-authored with the head coach of China’s IMO National Team, the book has sold millions of copies worldwide over the past two decades and has been translated into multiple languages.
